Trees for Canterbury was founded in 1990 and has developed into a fully functional social-enterprise nursery in Ōtautahi Christchurch. We are strongly linked to the local community, providing environmental education, eco-sourced native plants, trade supply and undertaking planting’s with community organisations and schools throughout Canterbury.
Visit our Christchurch Nursery for a wide selection of native plants and other planting and gardening products. We produce in excess of 200,000 native plants each year.
Our mission at Trees for Canterbury is to employ, educate and regenerate – growing both plants and people for a healthier environment and stronger community.
We are strongly linked with local community organisations, City Council and schools providing native plants and undertaking plantings across Canterbury.

Great place and is definitely a business that we should all suppor. Not only do they have a great selection at an affordable price. They also do a lot for the local environment by helping to support the reestablishing native plants. So buy a plant or two and happy gardening
